THE COMPETITIONS
These teams aren’t just here to show off – they’re here to win. And the competitions are fierce:
Battle of the Bacon: The main event, folks. Teams bring their A-game with bacon dishes that’ll blow your mind. Judged on appearance, taste, and creativity, this competition is as intense as it gets.
Pork Butt Competition: Love BBQ? Then this is your jam. Welcome to the 9th Annual Ryan Jackson Memorial Pork Butt Competition. Teams will serve over 150 samples to hungry ticket holders, all while competing for the top three spots. The jackpot is 100% of the entry fees, with payouts for the top three teams: 1st place: 60%, 2nd place: 25%, and 3rd place: 15%. Plus, you’ll get a special banner to hang at your cook site. It’s about more than just winning; it’s about honoring the legacy of our friend Ryan Jackson.
People’s Choice: Your vote counts! Each team has a donation jar. Vote with your taste buds and your dollars. The team with the most donations wins, and all proceeds go to support our incredible charitable causes.
