Chef Connie Mullins

First and foremost, I’m a cowgirl baby! I come from a long line of Pro Rodeo Cowboys, yee haw!

I am currently Sous chef and Pastry chef for Rough Creek Lodge & Resort in Glen Rose, Texas.  Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I am a professionally trained food & pastry chef.

Outside of the kitchen I promote living a healthy lifestyle, am an avid Mountain Biker and love spending time in the great outdoors with my family and friends

A few of my accomplishments are:

2015 inducted El Centro College Food & Hospitality Hall of Fame.

2012 Chosen by Food Network as one of America’s premier Pastry Chefs and was featured on Sweet Genius Holiday episode.

Load Tasting Judge for Texas ProStart High School Program.

State Fair of Texas Tasting Judge for live cooking/baking competitions.

Numerous honors & award winning for food and bakery pastry competitions.

Involved in many charitable/volunteer organizations including the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Elizabeth Home, Toys for Tots, and Texas Parks and Wildlife.
