Neil Dudley

Neil jumped into Bacon Bash Texas the minute he saw the heart behind it. He believes serving others is the key to real happiness and loves getting to share that joy with his family and the Bacon Bash community.

Chrisite Beyer

Christie came to her first Bacon Bash for the bacon and left with a mission that became part of her heart. When her season as a stay-at-home mom was ending, she was searching for a new outlet to serve. She found it here. The friendships, the families, and the chance to help kids with Type 1 Diabetes have become a blessing she did not expect. She believes the more Bacon Bash grows, the more lives it can impact and she is proud to be part of that work.
Melanie Taylor
Board MemberAbout Melanie
When Melanie’s son Ely was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, she saw firsthand how important tools like CGMs can be. Not every family has access to them. That reality shaped her passion for this mission. Melanie brings empathy, knowledge, and determination to help families get the support they need. She keeps the entire team connected to the real-world impact of this work.

Chrissy Lane
Board MemberAbout Chrissy
Chrissy was drawn in by the Carlsons, their kindness, and the work of Niki Warms the Cold. Once she met families affected by Type 1 Diabetes, she understood how life-changing this event could be. Chrissy brings energy, compassion, and a deep belief in helping people whenever she can.
Outside of Bacon Bash, you can find Chrissy managing the office at Pederson’s Farms the Official Bacon of Bacon Bash Texas.
Owen Carlson
Board MemberAbout Owen
Owen serves Bacon Bash Texas with a full heart. The mission honors both his daughter, Niki, and his niece, Lexie. The work that began with Niki Warms the Cold has grown into something much larger. It now helps children with Type 1 Diabetes and families across Texas. Owen shows up every year with strength, gratitude, and a desire to help as many people as possible.

Michael Clark

Michael is proof that a rainy birthday under a pop-up tent can change your life. After attending his second Bacon Bash, he and a group of friends launched the Baconeers and helped bring incredible recipes to the event. Now he supports the cook-off teams and pours his heart into creating a great experience for everyone. If it brings people together or helps kids, Michael wants to be part of it.

Cody Lane

Cody often says he is the luckiest guy you will ever meet. He believes his purpose is to serve God and serve people. Bacon Bash gives him a clear way to do that. The funds raised here help children directly and that means everything to him. Cody brings encouragement, humility, and a sense of joy to the mission every year.
Outside of Bacon Bash, you can find Cody leading Pederson’s Natural Farms as President. Pederson’s is the Official Bacon of Bacon Bash Texas.
Sandi Carlson

Sandi is one of the hearts behind Niki Warms the Cold and one of the reasons Bacon Bash Texas exists. Her daughter Niki’s simple wish to save blankets for people in need grew into a movement that now reaches hundreds of families. Sandi carries that mission with love and strength, and her compassion touches every part of Bacon Bash.

Jason Beyer

Jason first attended Bacon Bash because Neil and Cody invited him to come see what it was all about. Once he saw the mission and the people behind it, he knew he wanted to help. As an experienced auctioneer and industry leader, Jason uses his skills to support the event and raise funds for kids and families who need it. He and Christie believe that serving others is one of life’s greatest blessings.
